Can just about anyone get hair extensions?
Absolutely! If you have super short hair, there is also a way to do hair extensions on them if you really want to. Anyone can get them done, and the ones that benefit from it the most are those who have especially fine hair that lack volume that want to add that extra boost and thickness to the hair.
How Do I know which extensions are right for me?
This is why a detailed consultation has to be done to ensure that we apply the right extensions for your hair type and even lifestyle that you have. All our extensions are of High Quality, 100% Remy Russian, European hair so the quality will never be lacking. We also make sure that we take our time applying the extensions to ensure the application is done properly and efficiently.
Will the hair extensions damage my hair?
So this is one of the biggest and most common questions we get asked. And the answer to this is, No! The hair extensions are completely safe and of best high quality human hair, however, with proper home care maintenance and application of the technician the hair extensions won't damage your hair. The only time they can be damaging is 1 of 2 reasons. First reason, you are not properly caring for your hair (example: not brushing your hair each night and morning or using too much product) and 2, the technician is not properly trained and has applied the extensions incorrectly.
Will the hair extensions get tangled and knotted?
They can get a bit tangled throughout the day, yes. But this is an easy fix. We always ask that you brush your hair before going to bed at night to make sure that your extensions will last longer too and they won't fall out.
Will they extensions fall out?
So this has happened where we apply the hair extensions, and the client goes home and after a few days washes their hair, and a few extensions come out. This is totally normal. You may have the odd strands that may fall out after being applied, but never all of them at once. The only time that might happen, again, is if if you are not properly caring for them at home.
How long will my hair extensions last?
This depends on a few different things. Because our hair extensions are high quality, 100% human hair, they can last anywhere from 6 to 14 months, again depending on how well you maintain them.
Can I colour my hair extensions?
While our hair extensions are high quality, it is not recommended to colour them since we have a wide variety of extensions that already come in many different colours from solid bright colours to highlights and ombres, it is best not to and just blend a few different colours of your hair extensions in with your natural colour. This will give your hair a very natural look without the harsh chemicals of colouring your own hair!
Why type of shampoos/conditions will I have to use with the hair extensions?
It is always best to use a high quality professional salon brand of shampoo and conditioner. However, if budget is a contributing factor, we can always recommend some of our favourite non-expensive department store brands.We also really recommend using a leave-in treatment for the hair. This will give your hair a sleek, shiny and smooth sexy look! ;)
Can I go to bed with my hair wet?
No. After washing your home, it is not recommended to ever go to bed with wet hair. This may cause your hair to become tangled and leave knots.
Can I wear my hair up in a pony tail?
With certain types of extensions, yes you absolutely can. For example, the micro beads are a good option if you wear your hair up in a pony tail a lot. They are also almost invisible and you can style your hair a number of different ways including up in a bun or pony tail. Other types like tape-ins, you can, but they may be a bit visible.
Can I use product in my hair like gels, mousse and hairspray?
Yes you can. Of course we don't recommend using product in it every single day, but you absolutely can use mousse or hairspray, in small amounts.
Will others know I have extensions in my hair?
Since the hair is of such high quality and the application is done so that the natural hair is blended in with the extensions, you almost can't even tell! The hair will look so natural and nicely blended that it will look as though it is your own hair!
